Way forward for Haltwhistle to make money and become self sufficient

 

Things that really get up my nose, all the hidden agendas councillors have, such as in planning, you all remember the nursery gardens affair and the concentration camp they were going to build up Park Road at Greystonedale for older people 55 years and over tynedale council planning department decided older people did not need cars 18 parking places for 57 flats What right have councillors on planning to decide I DON’T NEED  A CAR now there is every chance we can squash these on the head as the new Conservative & Liberal government has said it is putting a stop to garden grabbing which these two were, if enough people complain they won’t go ahead and as far as nursery gardens is concerned they should be made to put the trees back.

 

Some of the councillors that were on the planning at Tynedale are on the planning at Northumberland County Council and are up to their old tricks. Remember the Ali Johnston affair , look at the time it took to get that sorted. I read in the paper about another young gentleman that is handicapped and I see they won’t let his parents alter the house to make things easier for him so they are at it again acting like little tin gods. Quite frankly they should be ashamed of themselves.

Maybe the public would like to know what the chairperson of these committees get, such as the west area committee they get roughly £12,000 plus their allowance for being a councillor another £12,000 and then travelling expenses a nice little earner. These meetings are planned for two hours that works out at £500 per hour, and guess who is chairman of planning in our area,  our ward councillor IAN HUTCHINSON  so when are all the over paid councillors  and officers going take a pay cut and show us what you are made of and follow new Conservative & Liberal governments example, and further more stop knocking them they  don’t deserve that

When you have a go at government all the hidden agendas show and make you look foolish. Example  5 minutes after Labour lost power they were blaming  the new Government for all their mistakes they had completely lost the plot.
